Manual assessments are used any time a learner's response needs to be manually assessed by someone (called the Assessor). The learner will answer the questions given, and the assessor will grade them either satisfactory or not satisfactory, with the ability to add commentary.

  4. Add any instructions for the learner (eg assessment criteria or expectations)
  5. Change the "Type" drop-down from Quiz to Manual Assessment
  6. Add any instructions for the Assessor (the person who will be reviewing the learner's answers)
  7. Add additional resources if desired (eg videos or documents)
  8. Click Questionnaire on the left side tab navigation
  9. Add all the questions for the learner to answer using the Create Question button
Important: Ensure you have added all questions, since adding or removing questions later from this assessment will clear out any in progress or outstanding submissions.

  11. Click Add New and specify who can do the assessments, and whether they can do them for everyone or only for certain locations
  12. Check the box if that person/role is required to do the assessments. This will send them an email and in-platform notification task to complete the assessment. If the box is un-ticked, they will not get notified of learners requesting assessments.
  13. Click Preview and ensure it looks the way you'd like. Make any amendments if required
  14. Click Publish when complete
