Op Central uses AWS RDS (Amazon Web Services Relational Database Service) to safely and securely store all data across every Op Central instance (site). This is configured to automatically creates daily snapshots and maintain a backup of the transaction log allowing for point-in-time recovery in the event of data loss or instance failure.
These daily backups can be used to recover an entire instance ad-hoc if necessary, however will incur additional costs if we are required to do this.
