On Tuesday the 11th of June at 10am AEDT, the new and improved Op Central mobile apps will launch!

The new android (Google) and iOs (Apple) apps have a refreshed layout, easier navigation, enhanced graphics and branding, smoother page transitions, and more. Read on for more information!

What do I need to do?

The new mobile apps will simply download as a new version of your existing Op Central app.

- If you have auto-updates enabled on your apps, then the new version will automatically download.
- If you do not have auto-updates enabled, then you will need to download the new version manually via your App Store. If you need instructions, check out Apple's tutorial here and Google's tutorial here.

Once the new app version has downloaded, simply enter your company domain, sign in with your username and password, set your PIN or Face ID, and you're good to go!

Step 1: Enter your domain. This is the website address (URL) you use in a web browser, but without the .opcentral.com.au part. For example, if the website address is sushishack.opcentral.com.au, then the domain is just sushishack.

Step 2: Enter your username and password. This is what you use to log in to the website. If you do not remember your password, click "Forgot Password" and follow the prompts. If you do not remember your username, you can ask your manager or system admin, or if you are already logged in to the website, you can check your profile by clicking your avatar in the top right corner. More instructions here.

Note: If your company uses a SSO (single-sign on) then you will use those details to log in.

Step 3: Set up your PIN or Face ID. You will use this to open the app instead of your username and password.

The old app will still continue to be supported for the near future, but we strongly recommend all users update their apps to the newest version to take advantage of the enhancements. The old app will not be updated in the future.

What's New?

Other than a general overhaul of most app functions, highlights below!

You can expect a refreshed and enhanced interface, including a new  menu layout. Graphics and images have been revamped across the app, as well as page transitions and effects. The "Like" and "Comment" buttons now appear on News Articles.

The new middle menu is where you'll find all the modules.

The names may be different, for example, Work Central might be called Resources or Operations Manuals.

A new Outstanding Audits page, and improved experience for submitting (e.g faster upload times for photos/videos and smoother flows).

What's coming?

The Product Team are working hard to release new functions for the mobile apps, including Forms and the Social Timeline. Keep your eyes out for updates to the app in the next few months!
