This article provides a general, high level overview of image size recommendations across the entire Op Central platform. Since Op Central is responsive to screen size, the exact size doesn't matter as much as the image ratio/aspect.

General branding
- Logo: Any size, recommend to use your logo which has a white background and have a little extra space between the logo and the image edge as possible. Examples below.
Optimised logo: minimal padding between logo and edge of image, on white background
Not Optimised logo: excessive unnecessary padding between logo and edge of image - Header Banner: Minimum recommended size 2000px wide x 200px high; but any image in a 10:1 ratio will work. Any images that are used in a different ratio will be cropped through the middle in a 10:1 ratio. Example below.
- Login Background: Recommended minimum size 1000px x 1000px, but any large image can be uploaded and will be resized/cropped to approximately the recommended size. Example below.
Dashboard
- News
- Primary Image: Any size in a 5:2 ratio. Recommended minimum size of 500x200px
- The Featured Banner: Any size in a 5:2 ratio. Recommended minimum size of 1000x400px
- Images within articles: Any size will work. If you'd like to resize it larger or smaller, we recommend you use the built-in image dimension selector rather than the corner pull method. Simply upload your image, right click it, and then click the "Image" button.
You can use exact pixel measurements, or a percentage. We recommend using percentage to ensure responsiveness. You only need to change one of the fields (either height or width), not both, to ensure the image stays within it's original proportions and does not distort.
