Embedded a PDF is one method of displaying content to users of the platform. A PDF that has been embedded will display directly in the policy page, in a PDF viewer. The user does not have to navigate to the attachments section to preview or download the PDF in this method.
To embed a PDF:
- Edit the policy you want to embed the PDF in.
- Click the "Select File" button next to Embed PDF.
- Upload your PDF into the File Manager, or select the file if it is already uploaded.
- Check that the policy is ready to be published (e.g permissions, other attachments, etc), and Publish or Update when finished.
When a user views a policy with an embedded PDF, they can scroll on the file, jump to certain pages, and zoom in/out. They cannot download a copy of the PDF file, and the PDF does not export when the policy is exported/printed.
